RecurDyn Student Version Download

RecurDyn Multibody Dynamics is available for download as a student version so that students can evaluate the software at no cost. This version of the software has the capabilities of RecurDyn/Professional, the core module of RecurDyn, with the restrictions listed below. Students will be able to create multibody dynamics models and run simulations. The RecurDyn student version is usable for six months from the date you register the license. After six months the license will be timed out.

Restrictions

• The maximum number of rigid bodies is 20.
• Only the Parasolid file format (*.x_t, *.x_b) is supported for imported CAD geometry.
• The file size must be less than 1MB (1,048,579 bytes).
• Three contact types are supported: Sphere To Sphere, Sphere In Sphere, and Extended Surface To Surface Contact.
• The model file (*.rdyn) generated by RecurDyn/Modeler and the plot file (*.rplt) used by RecurDyn/Plot in RecurDyn Student Version are not compatible with the full version of RecurDyn.
• No technical support from FunctionBay.
