This tutorial teaches users how to use the RecurDyn/Acoustics post-analysis toolkit to perform a Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) study on a vibrating transmission, using the Equivalent Radiated Power (ERP) approach. The transmission housing is modeled as a flexible body, which allows RecurDyn to perform the ERP calculations on its surfaces. After analyzing an initial design, a new housing design is also studied to show the effects of the modifications.
