RecurDyn V9R2: Mesher Enhancements
V9R2 now allows users to create Mesh faster and with better quality which allows for more accurate MFBD analysis.
Click on one of the videos below to learn about the new functions such as:
● Use Shell Mesh information to create a Solid Mesh
● Improved Remesh features
● Quality Check improvements
● Added functions related to Mesh Healing
RecurDyn User’s Conference 2019
As many of you know, MotionPort has been holding User’s Conferences to provide targeted training for the newest software updates and to spotlight our clients’ achievements.
With the new RecurDyn V9R2 update came many new enhancements as well as new tools to better support our users and their projects.
This year we would like your help in determining the most valuable option for us to help you get the hands on training you have come to expect from MotionPort as well as make this information sharing available to as many of you as we can.
Options we are considering:
We would love your input!
Please let us know which option would work best for you and your team by sending a quick email to Shanna at our office by clicking here.
**Please note that we need to receive commitments from at least 25 of our users in order to consider having the live User’s Conference.

“Predicting Component Loads Using Third Party Multibody Dynamics Software for ANSYS”
Brant Ross has recently sumbitted an article on the benefits of using MBD for ANSYS and it was posted to the ANSYS blog.
ANSYS is a great tool when you know the loads to input into your structural analysis.
However, these loads are not always easy to find.
This is especially true when simulating a moving assembly that operates in a dynamic environment.

Published White Paper by RecurDyn User, John Elias, et al.
Dr. John Elias from Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio has published a new white paper along with colleagues Kerwyn C. Jones, Andrew J. Copa, and Andrew J. Cosgarea.
The subject of the white paper,
“Computational Simulation of Medial Versus Anteromedial Tibial Tuberosity Transfer for Patellar Instability”,
addresses patients who suffer from issues related to unstable kneecaps. RecurDyn was a key component of this research. The white paper was published in the Journal of Orthopaedic Research (Volume36, Issue12, December 2018, Pages 3231-3238).
